KSPQP Policy

1. The supplier is expected to provide products that meet or exceed Kasai Quality, Cost and Delivery targets.

2. Suppliers are required to comply with all ISO 9001 requirements. This is a minimum requirement for the application of KSPQP.The goal should be for each supplier to conform to IATF 16949.

- ISO 9001 is Quality management systems - Requirements.

- IATF 16949 is the technical specification for automotive suppliers quality management systems requirements published by ISO (the International Organization for Standardization).

- IATF 16949, in conjunction with ISO 9001, defines the quality management system requirements for automotive suppliers.

- It is the responsibility of the suppliers to ensure that their sub-suppliers meet the quality management system requirements of KSPQP and IATF 16949.

3. Confirmation of the implementation of the suppliers quality management system and its ability to meet Kasai UK requirements will be carried by Kasai UK using the Kasai evaluation audit tool KSES.

4. The supplier is required to rigorously apply KSPQP to identify all reasonably foreseeable potential safety issues and to take preventative actions to ensure that such safety issues do not occur during the use of the product. The supplier shall deploy all necessary actions in order to preserve the key characteristics of the product in compliance with specifications.
