The Component Supply Chain Chart (CSCC) is a chart which visualizes the structure of the component supply chain.
The CSCC shall be used to reinforce sub supplier management.
Minimum Content Requirements
The CSCC shall cover all tiers of the supply chain down to raw material level (including examples required, etc.).
The document shall include details of the supplier names and locations.
Special Characteristics shall be identified at each tier using the appropriate symbols (see company specific requirements)
Key Features (as required) should be identified at each tier.
Notes
Additional detail may be requested depending on the project and customer.

The Suppliers reference no. and version no. for the document.
Document Revision Date
The date of the latest revision of the document.
Document Origin Date
The date when the document was first issued.
Supplier Name
The Supplier Company name.
Supplier Plant
The location at which the product will be produced.
Supplier Code
A unique code to each supplier, issued by Kasai UK Purchasing Dept.
Author
The name of the person who created / revised the document
e-mail
The e-mail address of the person who created / revised the document
Tel
The telephone number of the person who created / revised the document
Part Name
The part name or description as identified on the product drawing
Part No. & Issue Level:
The Part No. and Issue level as issued by Kasai UK design department
Design Note No.
The latest design note number that applies to the product being developed / manufactured.
Product Structure
(Tier 1, Tier 2 .......Tier N)
Describe the product structure with component parts' name.
When completing the document, enter the text directly into the cells on the Excel sheet. Do not use text boxes to complete the document.
Supplier Feature
Supplier Name
The Supplier Company name at which the products are manufactured.
Manufacturing Plant
Plant Name
The plant name or location at which the products are manufactured.
Country
The country where the manufacturing plant is located.
State, City
The city and state where the manufacturing plant is located.
Business Experience
New for the Tier N supplier
Input "Yes" if the sub-supplier is new to the Tier N supplier (no previous business relationship).
Kasai UK specified
Input "Yes" if the Tier N supplier is specified by Kasai UK
Manufacturing Feature
Plant/process/Line
New for the supplier
Input "Yes" if only a new manufacturing process or production line is used by the supplier in an existing Plant
Input "Greenfield" if a new manufacturing plant has to be built and used by the supplier
Method / Technology
New for the supplier
Input "Yes" if the product is manufactured using a new production method for the supplier.
Product Feature
New commodity for Tier1
Input "Yes" if the product is a new commodity for the supplier.
(e.g. A metal supplier who will produce plastic parts for the first time etc..)
